More about Me

I am a Registered Psychologist in Alberta.  I graduated from Loma Linda University - Canadian Campus in 2012 with a Masters of Science Degree in Marital and Family Therapy.  This degree equipped me to work with the whole family system including children, teens, adults, family groups and couples.  During my degree I focused on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a foundational theory.  Beyond my degree I have extended my training in marriage therapy using The Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy.  For my work with children I have also trained and received certification as Certified Play Therapist.  My work with people of faith has been informed through training with PACPT and courses through Regent College in Vancouver.

My work in the therapy room is informed by the clients own worldview and perspective.  I want to learn what motivates you and who you are as a person/or group so that I can support your growth as an individual, couple, or family in the direction of your preferred future.  I have worked with individuals and families with diverse backgrounds and perspectives and my desire is to understand and support each client in the journey towards health and wholeness.

How to choose which type of therapy?

I am here to help you discover what will be the best fit.  You can read through the different session types and evaluate what might work best for you, or I am always willing to discuss the options further and make recommendations.
